“WATCH OUT!” Kayden tackled in Amaterasu side forcing her away from the monstrous robots arm, as it slammed in ground just behind them creating a tiny earthquake. Two of them hit ground, shaken by the sudden attack. Kayden and Amaterasu were patrolling the area around where their Clan had settled, when they ran into a group of “highly trained” MNC officers. They fought valiantly but the two ex-clones left them all as bloody corpses, however the officers would not leave without an encore. They had called in the beast of all robots, it looked almost identical to the jackbots Amaterasu used to crack into all those years ago only it didn’t have the distinct cannons that normal jackbots had. The monstrous bot had longer tentacle like arms with three straight talons on each end. It moved with speed and the relentless persistence of destruction, as if it had been programmed to kill everything. Amaterasu and her companion were the only things standing between it and their people. Her family.

The monstrous jackbot raised its hand and attempted to crush them again. Kayden rolled off to the side, just barely avoiding the bots metal arm; while Amaterasu jumped to her feet and ducked behind a broken set of steel stairs. She looked back to see Kayden wrestling his way onto the robots arm, trying to climb on of the jackbot. Amaterasu heart lurched in her chest her friend, who was practically a brother to her, was going to take on the titan of jackbots. However this sudden display of courage, moved her to act. She was not going to stand idly by and watch this jackbot kill her friend and other innocent Outlanders. The ex-assassin leaped over the cover she was hiding behind and bolted into battle. Kayden was still trying to climb on top of the jackbot, when it flailed it’s arms in an attempted to shake him off. Hanging on with all of his might, Kayden just barely kept his grip. Swooping in, Amaterasu sweeped Yorukaze under the jackbots legs unbalancing it. The blade screeched violently with the sound of metal scraping against metal; the jackbots knees buckled as it struggled to keep it’s weight.

In a fit of pre programed rage at having it legs temporarily disabled, it wildly lunged at Amaterasu for revenge with both outstretched talons. Missing her dodge by a second, the monster caught Amaterasu by the leg and violently hoisted her into the air. The jackbots talon clenched around her leg, snapping it like a twig. Amusement, or a sense of achievement seemed to flash in the jackbots eyes as the sound of Amaterasu’s screams filled the stagnant air. A tick of ordinance told the jackbot continue to make the assassin clone suffer for her crimes. It slowly reached with it opposite talon to inflict more damage. Growling with instinctual rage, Amaterasu’s struggled under the dead weight of a broken limb. Death smiled, giggling sisterly. It would finally take it a prize it had envied from a long time.

Like a flash off unfettered hope, Kayden appeared behind the jackbots head pulling upwards on it almost removing it from it socket. A loud electrical discharge followed afterward, burning the monsters torso. Kayden flipped off the jackbot, his body now glowing with an ethereal like energy. It’s attention now focused on the Spark clone, the jackbot threw Amaterasu away like a child annoyed with a toy. Her body hit the wall of nearby building with a bloody hump, cracking her ribs. With her last ounce of strength, Amaterasu was able to witness a fight that seemed to come out of a comic book.

Unbalanced, from having it head half ripped off, the jackbot charged at Kayden. With total tranquility, the ex-spark widened his stance waiting of the precise moment to land his next blow. The glow around him seeming grow brighter, as he intently stared down the jackbot. The huge steps of jackbot creating an earthquake that would have startled the Overlords above them, as it now closed in to make the final blow. As it raised it’s talons in a overhead ark ready to smash everything in it’s way. Kayden lunged forward his hand outstretched towards the monster. In a flash, his glow left out through his hand as a spectacular berserking strike of lightning engulfed the whole battlefield. Amaterasu quickly turned her gaze away, as the violet-blue light could rival the suns power. Even the initial BOOM, of the first strike deafened her. The cracks and zappz that followed stute, could have woken Federico from his grave. Burning metal and plastic tainted the air, and the jackbot twitched violently, electricity still pulsing through it, as it’s legs finally gave way to the devastating attack.

Kayden drew his voltage sword, Maelstrom. He had broken his original voltage spike in his journey to the Outlands, the clan’s blacksmith/engineer managed salvage most of it creating a blade just as able to conduct electricity but with the ability to leave them bleeding as well. Nonchalantly flipping his blade with one hand, Kayden walked up to the jackbot and stabbed it in the chest; stopping the convolutions for good.

Amaterasu was awestruck. She had never seen anything like the heroic act performed in front of her in real life. The clone attempted to lift herself to her feet to congratulate her brother; but when trying to put pressure on her broken leg pain spiked through her. Groaning in pain, Amaterasu attracted Kayden attention and he rushed over to his broken sister. “How bad does it hurt?” Kayden asked as he lifted the assassin clone to her feet, “Like childbirth.” Amaterasu grunted. “Can you at least limp?” Kayden said pulling her arm around her shoulder propping her up on her good leg. His gaze was calm and sincere, a sort of gaze that seemed to heal the spirit. The ex-Spark had such a well cut and handsome face complete with a dimpled chin that made all the young girls in their clan blush and giggle every time they saw him. Short feather-like light blonde hair, pale gray eyes matched with a naturally tanned skin. It seemed a shame that the Overlords who created such a beautiful face would cover it behind a mask, ironic that Martin would usually say things like this to Amaterasu. Biting her lip and nodding, the ex-commandos pressed home ward at a snails pace.

“That was very impressive, back there” Amaterasu commented. Kayden chuckled “Ha, I’ve wanted to do that ever since they let me on the field.”, Amaterasu was astounded, he’s always been able to do this. “Besides”  Kayden continued “when solitude is mixed with imagination, you be amazed what you can come up with.”
“Mmm, I know what you mean.” Amaterasu replied “though it takes a leap of faith to take hold of dreams. I wouldn’t be a mother, or a wife, or free, or hell even maskless, if I didn’t reach for what I wanted.”
“I wouldn’t be a hero. . .” Kayden trailed off,

“And that is what we shall be, hero's, and not the ones written in childish fiction, but the ones who lived, breathed and fought for what was right.”

This was a fan fiction I had made for the game Super Monday Night Combat. It was one of the greatest games I had ever played, but unfortunately the developers gave up on the game and stopped updating it.
Cry run I still cry myself to sleep about it. IT WAS SUCH A GOOD GAME
Anyway while I did play the game I wrote this, story about the Assassin clone and some other clones escaping and living in the fearsome Outlands. All the while try to defeat the people that tried to own them. Also in the game there's apparently a way to see what people dream, so I based it on the fact that she has all ready escaped and her old masters are just now watching these "visions" she had.
I never finished it though. I might. . .maybe.
